Nativity Play

We did a play at Christmas. The play was in Culleen Hall. Laura played Mary. Timmy played Joseph. Paddy was the narrator. I was in the choir. The children from Ms Harlow's room were the Kings, angels and shepherds. Mrs Byrne played the keyboard for us. We had great fun.

Artist In Residence

Last year we had Orla Clogher from Roscommon County Council.

She came to our school every Thursday for 12 weeks.

We did rubbings, collages, marbling, weaving, still life.

We also visited local historic sites in our area.

We interviewed Edward John Beattie. He was in Rahara School in the 1930's.

He told us about school life in Rahara in the 1930's.

We produced a DVD of our local heritage.

We had great fun.
