The Two-Teacher 5 Aside Football Final
We played in the Roscommon Cumann na mBunscol Two-Teacher 5 Aside County Final in June 2008
We played against Woodbrook N.S. in Dr Hyde Park Roscommon.
Martin was captain for us. When we started Martin kicked a ball that hit off the cross bar and I caught it and drove it past the Goalie. Then Warren scored a point. After that Martin scored. The referee blew the whistle for half time. We started the second half and Martin punched the ball down into my hands. I ran and passed it to Warren and he scored the goal. Woodbrook scored a few goals and points as well but in the end we won the county final. It was the first time that Rahara won a football final. We also won the 2 Teacher hurling final in 2008. We beat Athleague N.S. by a point.

GAA 125 ANNIVERSARY

To mark the 125th anniversary, the GAA have brought out a special Bank Coin Set .

The eight coins are specially commissioned.

St Dominics Under 12 footballers were playing in Croke Park last summer. I was with the team. there were lots of pictures taken of us.

The GAA used one of the pictures of me that was taken when I played in Croke Park.

I am kicking the ball and a boy from Sligo is trying to block my kick.

The picture is on the inside cover of the specail commemorative booklet of coins.

This is a picture of Willie Hegarty presenting the football trophy to our captain

I am in the bottom picture kicking the ball in Croke Park
