Paul's Story

Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday.
Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent.
The teacher brought flour, eggs, sugar and milk into school to make pancakes.
We put flour and eggs into a bowl and whisked them.
Then we put the milk and sugar into the bowl.
We poured some of the mixture into the pan and fried it.
The teacher showed us how to toss a pancake.
Mrs Tully helped us to fry the pancakes.
We all got loads of hot tasty pancakes for lunch.
Some of us put jam on them.
Mrs. Connaughton didn't eat any.
She said she doesn't like pancakes but Miss Harlow and Mrs. Tully eat lots of them
Everyone had a great day.
