GAA Gum Shields requirement

It is now a compulsory requirement for pupils to wear gum shields whilst participating in Gaelic football games and training.  The rule change of wearing gum shields in all under age games to minor level now affects the insurance cover of school children who play Gaelic football as a school activity under the governance of the GAA.  Please ensure that you purchase a gum shield for your child and label the container.  Gum shields cost from €3 and can be purchased in any sports shop.
