March Newsletter 2013
Senior Room
Pupils in the senior room are busy preparing songs for confirmation.
They are busy creating biodiversity trails for visitors to our school. We are busy practicing our informal Irish, gaeilge neamhfhoirmiúil, for Seachtain na Gaeilge. “Is fearr gaeilge briste ná bearla cliste”-it’s better to have broken Irish than clever English! We are looking forward to the table quizzes, games, ceilé dancing and school concert!
Junior Room
The junior room have been busy investigating 2D & 3D shapes all around the school! They worked in groups identifying 2D & 3D shapes in the playground.
The children created beautiful sunflower paintings, inspired by the painting “Sunflowers” by Vincent Van Gogh.
