Summer Clothes

Pupils may wear shorts, hats, sandals with a school t-shirt over the coming days. Please ensure your child wears sunblock/cream.


Reports

School reports will be posted over the coming days. Reports will include results of standardised tests, school calendar 2014-15, booklists, a “Help My Kids Learn” booklet for parents and an NCCA Sten explaination sheet for parents.


School Jumpers

If you wish to order a school jumper, you may browse through the sample jumpers in our school entrance hall and fill in the order sheet.

 

Taster Morning

New infants are invited to our school on Friday 27th June for a taster morning. We are looking forward to meeting our new pupils!


Graduation

Sixth class graduation dinner party will take place in the school on Tuesday 24th June. Good luck to our graduates on their transition to post-primary school this year!

 

Special Interest Talks

All pupils will be assessed in the coming days. Please ensure your child prepares and practices their special interest talk at home. A mind map must be prepared in advance of SIT outlining the vocabulary that will be used.


Dates

School will close @ 12:30pm on Friday 27th June for Summer holidays. The new school year starts on Thursday 28th August @ 9:20am

 

School Play

Pupils are extremely busy rehearsing for our school play! The play will take place on Thursday 26th June @ 6pm. Pupils will need to arrive at Culleen Hall from 5:15pm to get into costume and make-up.

There will be no interval during the play but we will have a cover charge on the door. Please invite your family and friends along as the play is very entertaining!

Any volunteers, who would like to help with the cover charge on the door, please contact the staff.

 

Rehersals

On Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th the pupils will travel by bus to Culleen Hall to rehearse. Pupils must be collected from Culleen Hall next Wednesday & Thursday @ 3pm.

 

Note from Principal

I wish to express our appreciation to all the parents who have helped and suported us all year. I am especially grateful to the parents who have been available to help with lifts to/from all the matches during Term 3! Thank you!

 

I wish to thank the B.O.M. for their loyalty, dedication and hard work.

 

Finally I would like to express my appreciation to all the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, for all their work and dedication. I know they work tirelessly for the happiness, safety & education of all the pupils in Rahara NS.
