All pupils attended the online Green Schools Award Ceremony on 6th of October for our 9th Green Schools Flag; Global Citizenship Travel. In November we will begin working towards our 10th Green Schools Flag for Global Citizenship, Food and Biodiversity. All themes run over a two year cycle. We welcome any suggestions/ideas on how we could improve biodiversity within our school grounds (including pollinator friendly fruit, vegetables, plants and flowers) while being mindful to reduce, reuse and upcycle/recycle where possible.

Parent/Teacher meetings

We are in the process of organising the meetings for this term. Subject to Department of Education approval, we plan to hold face to face meetings. To avoid parents congregating on the corridors, there will be strict adherence to the allocated times for meetings i.e. 10 minutes. Face coverings must be worn and social distancing observed. There will be a one way system to enter and exit the building which will be communicated to you before the meetings take place. Teachers will sanitise the area between each meeting. Details will follow shortly.

Science and Maths

All pupils took part in Maths and Space week activities during the month of October.

Science Week begins on Monday 8th November and all pupils will be taking part in a number of interactive science lessons and workshops during this week.
